WWII Westinghouse Paratrooper M1-C Helmet Liner (Cut A-yokes)
This is an original U.S. WWII Westinghouse manufactured paratrooper helmet liner. Unfortunately, its factory installed A-yokes have been cut, however remnants are still visible beneath the blackened brass A-washers, which date the liner's production from mid-1944 to 1945. The 'S'-stamped khaki suspension is strong and intact. It has recently been outfitted with an original Paul K. Weil Co. manufactured headband and neckband. The exterior retains its original olive drab textured paint finish. This liner would display quite nicely in an M1-C paratrooper helmet shell.
