WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force Type B-2 Mechanic's Apron
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force mechanic's apron. Its official nomenclature is the "Apron - Mechanics, Type B-2, Spec. 3136, A. C. Order No. 43-801 AF". It appears to have seen use and was even modified by its original owner via the addition of a red lanyard loop, most likely added to better secure a tool. The OD#3 (khaki) material is in very good condition.
