WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force Enlisted Man's Service Cap
This is an original WWII U.S. Army Air Corps/Force enlisted man's service cap. It is constructed of a summer-weight khaki material, and features a russet brown leather brim and chinstrap. These were popular among American airmen in the PTO and, during the summer months, in the ETO. The front is decorated with the small brass disc insignia, as used by U.S. Army enlisted men. Unfortunately, no size or manufacturer's label could be located, however the original wire stiffener remains intact.
