WWII U.S. Army Air Corps B5 Winter Flying Helmet Leather Chin Cup
This original WWII U.S. Army Air Corps leather chin cup was originally designed for the B5 winter flying helmet, however it could also be used with a variety of other flying helmets and even paratrooper liners. Its shearling lining is in good, used condition. Interestingly, there are two hand-painted arrows on the russet side, quickly indicating to its original owner which way to wear his helmet.
