WWII M1-C Airborne Paratrooper Front Seam Helmet Shell (November 1944)
This is an original WWII McCord manufactured M1-C paratrooper helmet. It is a transitional example, with a manganese steel rim meeting at the front. The heat stamp of 1102 dates the helmet's production to November 1944. The helmet retains its original field re-paint, cork texture, and factory-applied OD#3 para straps. The interior features a name tape belonging to an "Alleshouse". This M1-C helmet shell would pair quite nicely with an Inland or Westinghouse paratrooper liner.
