WWII German Oil Pastel of Luftwaffe Unterwachtmeister
This is an original WWII German oil pastel on paper, with a heavy cardboard backing. The man depicted in the painting is a Luftwaffe Unterwachtmeister (Staff Sergeant), according to the gull wing collar pins and tresse. He served in a flak unit, as evident by the red collar tabs.
