WWII German M40 Luftwaffe Helmet & Liner Set (NS68)
This original WWII German M40 helmet has an exceptional combat-used appearance. The wearer's left side exhibits a well-worn original Luftwaffe decal. The helmet's original "feldblau" finish shows minor surface rust throughout. The inside brim is size stamped NS68, with a lot number of D241, denoting mid-1940 production by the Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke, Schwerte factory. The interior retains its original leather liner and slightly damaged chinstrap. The helmet's split pins and washers are all original and show no signs of tampering.
