WWII German 6x30 Dienstglas "bek" Hensoldt Binoculars With Lens Cover & Strap
This is an original pair of WWII German 6x30 dienstglas binoculars. The factory code of bek denotes production by the rather rare producer, Hensoldt-Werk fuer Optik und Mechanik, from Herborn, Germany. These binoculars are in good, used condition, with clear optics, however the textured wrapping is separating in one area. They retain their original lens cover, carrying strap, and knopflasche, which the wearer could use to fasten the binoculars to a tunic button. Interestingly, the lens cover is marked "A. T. Groven" - a surname of Norwegian origin.
