Mid-WWII Canadian Two-Tone Camouflage Helmet Net With Original Scrim
This is an original WWII Canadian manufactured camouflage helmet net. In the days leading up to the D-Day Invasion American troops often procured British and Canadian nets for their own M1 helmets. The two-tone material, with a brown and green side divided down its center, dates the net's production to 1943. It retains remnants of its original oil cloth scrim. It fits quite tightly on a helmet and a few of the squares have been enlarged. The M1 helmet shown is just for display purposes and is not included.
