Early-WWII U.S. Vesicant Gas Detecting Camouflage Paint
Given the nature of oil-based paints, we're afraid these are only available to ship to U.S. addresses via USPS Retail Ground. This listing is for a single original unopened can of M-5 Type II liquid vesicant gas detecting paint, however three are available. This paint was commonly used by U.S. invasion forces as a method of camouflaging their helmets. When the normally brownish green paint would come into contact with chemical weapons it would turn pinkish red, warning the troops of the presence of gas. Each can still contains 4 fluid ounces. Although the contents are still liquid, we can make no guarantees regarding the functionality of the paint. All three date to October 26, 1942. These will be shipped on a first come, first served basis; meaning, the first of the three that sells will be the best condition, and so on from there.
