Early-WWII U.S. M1 Helmet Liner Headband (Double Wire)
This original WWII U.S. headband was manufactured by American Stay Co. It features the 'double wire' buckle variation, which dates the headband's production from early-1942 to mid-1942. The leather remains quite soft and supple. This would be an ideal headband for all helmet liners with non-painted steel A-washers (including Hawleys and low-pressure liners).
